What this error means
To create a sale in Lightspeed, BRM needs a product code (EAN/SKU) to match the rental item to a Lightspeed product. This error means that code is missing.
Why it happens
The Lightspeed configuration for the item hasn't been done, or has become invalid — the rental item has no matching product code in Lightspeed.
How to fix it
- In Lightspeed, find (or create) the product that matches your rental item.
- Give it a product code (EAN/SKU) so BRM can match to it.
- Retry the transaction.
