What this error means
BRM checked Lightspeed repeatedly for a payment confirmation and didn't get one within the allowed number of retries, so it stopped checking. Underlying message: "Polling Lightspeed for a payment has exceeded maximum number of retries. Stopping now."
Why it happens
Lightspeed didn't confirm the payment back to BRM in time — the payment may not have completed, or Lightspeed was slow/unavailable.
How to fix it
- In Lightspeed, check whether the payment actually recorded.
- If it did, reconcile the reservation manually in BRM. If it didn't, take the payment again.
