Lightspeed Retail error LSI012 — "Checking Lightspeed for payment"

What this error means

This is an informational status, not a failure. BRM is checking (polling) Lightspeed to confirm whether a payment has been recorded against the sale.

Why it happens

After a sale is sent to Lightspeed, BRM waits and checks back to see the payment land. You may see this briefly while that check is in progress.

How to fix it

  1. Give it a moment — this usually resolves on its own once Lightspeed confirms the payment.
  2. Check in Lightspeed that the payment recorded as expected.
