What this error means
BRM's Lightspeed tax type is set incorrectly. Lightspeed's exact message is "Sale.taxCategoryID must be set. For no sales tax set taxCategoryID to zero."
Why it happens
The Lightspeed tax setup type in BRM is set to SALES_TAX when it should be NONE — because tax is handled in BRM, not Lightspeed.
How to fix it
- Go to Settings → Integrations → Lightspeed R
- Set the tax setup type to NONE.
- Save and retry the transaction.
