BRM supports recurring events, making it easier to manage tours, activities, and events that repeat on a schedule.

Accessing the Configuration

To set up events:

  1. Go to Settings → Optional Modules → Events (you may need to scroll to the bottom of the page).

  2. Ensure the Events module is enabled in your package.

Once inside the events page, you will see a table of events. At first, this list will be empty—click Add New to create your first event.

Event Details

When you create a new event, you’ll be taken to the event detail page.

If you choose a Recurring Event, additional fields for valid dates and times will appear. These ensure that only the specified dates and times are available for online booking.

Required Fields

  • Code: A short reference code for the event (e.g., WINE01 for a wine tasting tour). This code will also be stamped onto any reservations in the group tag.

  • Title: The name your customers will see (e.g., Wine Tasting Tour).

  • Description: A chance to describe and promote your event.

  • Event Type:

    • Fixed Date – For one-off events, such as an annual sportif.

    • Recurring – For events that repeat, such as a weekly shuttle ride.

  • Image: Upload an image to represent the event.

  • Conditions: Note any restrictions or requirements that apply.

  • Reservation Type: Select which reservation type will be used for bookings.

  • Categories:

    • List categories if you want the event to display only specific ones.

    • Leave blank to show all available categories.

Categories Update

You no longer need to include categories in the event URL. If you set category preferences here, they will automatically apply to the code.

Please note: Events 2.0 is a premium module. Contact BRM Support if you’d like to enable it for your business.
