The menu system is on the left of the application.
The default setting is minimised and will look something like this:
However, if you want to maximise the menu (for a while) you can do that and the system will remember your setting for your user id. (But we recommend operating in minimized format to have more room to see the features)
Using the menu system
By clicking on or hovering over a menu item you will always see a tooltip. This tooltip will tell you one of two things:
- if there are no subpages (e.g. Customers) it will take you to the page AND show you the name of the menu item:
- if there are sub-pages (e.g. Settings) then it will show you the sub-options AND show you the name of the menu item. You can directly access these sub-pages from this menu.
The Home page
in this version of the menu we have removed the 'home page' link. (actually it changes dynamically depending on which stage of onboarding your store is in, from getting started > getting going > home)
You can still access the home page, by clicking on the logo top left hand corner:
