If a website isn’t working properly (e.g., it looks broken, won’t load, or shows outdated content), try the following steps:
1. Hard Refresh (Reload Without Cache)
Forces the browser to load the most recent version of the website.
Windows / Linux
Chrome / Edge / Firefox → Ctrl + F5 or Ctrl + Shift + R
Mac
Chrome / Firefox → Cmd + Shift + R
Safari → Cmd + Option + R
2. Clear Cache & Cookies
Cached files and cookies can cause outdated or broken pages.
Chrome / Edge / Firefox (Desktop)
Open menu (⋮ or ☰) → Settings
Go to Privacy / Clear browsing data
Select Cached images/files + Cookies
Choose All time → Clear
Safari (Mac)
Empty cache: Menu → Safari → Preferences → Advanced → enable Develop menu → Develop → Empty Caches
Clear cookies: Safari → Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data → Remove All
Mobile (Chrome, Safari, Edge, Firefox)
Menu → Settings / Privacy → Clear browsing data → Select Cache and Cookies → Clear
3. Check Other Common Causes
Outdated Browser → Ensure you’re using the latest version of Chrome, Edge, Firefox, or Safari. Update via browser settings or app store.
Extensions / Add-ons → Temporarily disable ad blockers or other extensions that may interfere.
Private/Incognito Mode → Open the site in a private/incognito window to bypass cache and cookies.
Restart Device → Restart your browser. If that doesn’t help, restart your computer or phone.
✅ If All Else Fails
Try a different browser (e.g., Chrome instead of Safari).
Try a different device or network to rule out connection issues.
