Optionally you can set up online channels in your store to have different 'views' of your online offerings.
Same inventory - taken to market differently (and to different audiences)
For example, if you have different locations you might want to set up one online channel for each of your locations.
In this example, I've clicked on the NYC channel, which will only show me bikes who have a Home Location of NYC:
Please note - to use this feature you need to be using the Multiple Location option, and it needs to be in Location-Based mode. (see link below)
Other use cases for Online Channels:
- Seasonal Channels - winter and summer
- Affiliate Channels - different 'portals' for your business partners.
In time the online channel will control things like:
- different company name
- different address
- different terms / waiver
- different prices
- different bikes
