setting short codes for your product lines

Normally when you rent items in BRM you will use the specific item's ID2 or even Barcode.

BUT sometimes you will want to setup short codes for Product Lines - so you can sell at a higher level in your inventory hierarchy.

You will want to do this if you're running in GBAL mode or if you are renting packages from the back office:

Here is how you do that:

1. navigate to the Product Line in question; fleet -> manage -> hierarchy management - and put in your name in the ID2 column.
2. hit enter to save it
