Add Support for Google Tag Manager & Next Generation of Google Analytics

PROBLEM:
BRM only supports the old Universal Google Analytics tracking code. Google Analytics recently released version 4, known as GA4.

Further more, BRM does not support other tracking platforms such as Mixpanel, Facebook Pixel, Segment, Heap and many other website tracking and analytics platforms.

SOLUTION:
Add support for Google Tag Manager (https://marketingplatform.google.com/about/tag-manager/). Google Tag Manager (GTM) is implemented very similarly to Google Analytics, but once implemented, GTM allows additional Tags (code snippets) to be inserted into the head without having to edit the website.

GTM is like a funnel, once it is installed, you can pour in additional tracking code for event tracking, goal and conversion tracking, and anything else. Adding GTM support will allow BRM to support many other platforms without having to add support for each platform individually.

WHY THIS MATTERS?
* Google Tag Manager will allow BRM customers to see which marketing efforts lead to the most rentals.
* Google Tag Manager will allow BRM customers to implement Mixpanel, which allows for more specific tracking of real customers
* Google Tag Manager will help us track the funnels that lead to the most sales.

* Google Tag Manager will allow us to use the next generation of Google Analytics (GA4)

Today, we cannot tell how customers are finding our rental offerings and we cannot tell if the money were are spending on advertisement and marketing is working.

Please add an option to add Google Analytics, GA4 and/or Google Tag Manager. I've attached a code sample that shows how GTM is implemented - script tag in the head and no script in the body.

You could technically set it up the same way as BRM's current Google Analytics implementation, but allow for us to choose GTM, and then you will have to put the GTM ID (just like current Google Analytics ID) into the right place in the head and body noscript.

From Google Analytics Support:

We strongly encourage you to make the switch to Google Analytics 4 as soon as possible. Doing so will allow you to build the necessary historical data and usage in the new experience, preparing you for continuity once Universal Analytics is no longer available.

@David and @BRM support. We are getting very close to losing the ability to have comparison data moving forward.

Here is the official announcement from Google:

https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/11583528

Google Analytics 4 is our next-generation measurement solution, and it's replacing Universal Analytics. On July 1, 2023, standard Universal Analytics properties will stop processing new hits. If you still rely on Universal Analytics, we recommend that you prepare to use Google Analytics 4 going forward.

We need BRM to take action right now, so that next year, we will have Google Analytics 4 data to compare to the current year. As of right now, this time next year, when Google Analytics Universal (v3) is gone, we will not have a way to compare data because we cannot capture Google Analytics 4 data right now.

Google Analytics Universal (v3) data will not be avaialbe in Google Analytics 4. We need to start capture Google Analytics 4 data right now, so that we can look back and compare BRM analytics next year.

Universal Google Analytics will finish in July 2023, would like to move over to GA4 before it dies.

Very much this. We want to see in detail how are customers are looking at the site, and what bikes they check availability and if they give up if there is none available.
